For more than nine decades, Madam Marie's Temple of Knowledge has welcomed visitors to one of the most beloved corners of the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Generations of locals, summer travelers, musicians, and seekers have stepped inside the little booth at 4th and Ocean to find guidance, comfort, and a moment of wonder by the sea.
The booth became woven into the fabric of Jersey shore culture — immortalized in song, photographed by passing tourists, and quietly treasured by neighbors who grew up under its glow. Today, the Temple of Knowledge continues that tradition with the same warmth and care that made Madam Marie a name people remember.
